Motorcyle * 2 = Tank

Take two motorcyles, cut them in two and connect them to a wheel. What do you get?? A tank! Each (half) motorcyle is completely independant with its own electrical and fueling system, while the streeting is common.

The 'Car Gaming, Funny Lights, PC, XBOX Media POD'

The CPod is a project that brings together vehicles, gaming, comfort, coolness, extravagance, and shear pimping. What we did is take half a Renault Megane, the back half, and pimp it everything a geek can ask for, including: PC, sound system, secondary touch screen for control, XBox console and projector. As a bonus we added a small circuit that listens for volume changes and powers a strong set of light-bulbs located in the trunk and under the car. In a dark setting, the car beams to the beat of the music/games being played.

Who needs handles to drawers?

We built a drawer, put distance and light sensors in it and wrote some software. The result: a drawer that is open and closed by waving your hand at it.

Taking a Virtual Car out into the Real world and having fun with it, or is it the other way around?

We decided to build a car simulator inside a real car. For that we took an old car, connected its streering wheel and gauges to a computer and projector on wind shield.

New way to mix music and lights

Controlling mixing of music with your hands using distance sensors while lights change according to the beat. This is allows several people to create music together very easily

Who is a geek? Finally a definitive answer!

We built a machine that verifies the level of geekness by asking simple questions on a small LCD screen. The cool thing is that this whole device is built into an antique volt meter. The level of the tester's geekness is displyed using the needle of the volt meter.

Pac Man does not get any real than that

The main idea of this project is to take the oldest, most low-tech project and to build it in using the as much technology as we can find. The board is RFID-enabled, and the pacman is mounted on a radio controlled car which is controlled by a cell phone using bluetooth *gasp*, which in turn drives the pacman in the game. So in fact, you'd be playing the physical pacman on the virtual board.

A robot which is driven by a Dos (acronym for Rabbi in Hebrew)

This robot took part in the FIRST Robotics 2006 competition in Israel. One of the cool features of this robot is that we have mounted a rabbi on it. The rabbi is holding a turning streering wheel, which gives the effect as if he is the driver.

A machine that paints...

A machine that holds pencils, pen or brush that draws pictures. The machine is built from spare parts of a copier machine, printer and floppy drive. BTW, don't you dare calling this a plotter :-)
