We will split into teams and each team will work on a project.
Don’t know how? Don’t worry! All you need is some basic knowledge in , programming (PHP, Python,Javascript) and we’ll help you with the rest!

Graphic designers from all kinds are welcome to contribute their skills.

GarageGeeks presenting at SXSW

Like ninjas battling on stage, Bre Pettis and Tal Chalzin will volley projects demonstrations back and forth. From guitar player robots to machines that vomit plastic skulls, the presentation will include a mix of projects they’ve worked on and that have been worked on at the GarageGeeks, NYCResistor and beyond. This presentation will both thrill and repulse you with the possibilities that have recently emerged in the diy hacker technology space.

The Bialik Rogozin School in Tel Aviv, an educational campus that serves 750+ at-risk children in grades K-12 are looking for friends to come to the Bialik Rogozin School on Friday, February 26th.

The event starts at 0900 and will include a marching parade.

I am asking my friends in Israel to consider joining me on this day the Bialik Rogozin School and help bring a smile to the these kids.

I would appreciate it if you could share this event with your friends and encourage your friends to help make a difference in the lives of these at-risk kids. I am asking for your help to show that it is possible to use social media for the social good in Israel.

Background: The Bialik Rogozin School in Tel Aviv is an educational campus that serves 750+ at-risk children in grades K-12. The school is run by principal Karen Tal and her devoted staff, and with children and teenagers from twenty-eight countries. They are new immigrants, children of foreign workers, refugees from Darfur and Israeli Arabs. Many are from single-parent families. Bialik Rogozin is a caring and nurturing center that provides hot meals, music and art instruction, specialized tutoring and a solid education in a safe and welcoming environment.

The time you spend at the school will be felt and will help transform the lives of these kids.

Vint is the co-designer with Robert Kahn of TCP/IP protocols and basic architecture of the Internet. At Google Vint is responsible for identifying new enabling technologies and applications on the Internet and other platforms for the company.


IMAGinE 2010

We are happy to invite you to IMAGinE (read: Imagine in IMAGE),
an informal, non-commercial gathering of like-minded people in the fields of animation, computer vision, 3D graphics, image processing, visualizations, augmented reality, video and photography.

IMAGinE is one of the unconference events initiated and inspired by Yossi Vardi, which include Kinnernet, GeekCon and MuseNet. As an unconference, the content is created by the event participants, so we depend on YOU to propose discussions, workshops, project displays and any crazy mash-up that comes to mind and can drive technologists and creative types to innovate, learn and inspire.

IMAGinE 2010 will be held on Friday, January 8th 2010, at the Tiltan College of Design in Haifa.
