Musenet music un-convention, put together by the initiatives of Itay Talgam, and Ayelet Yagil. Uri Levanon, Illit Gilad, Michal Rinot, On Paradise, Eyal Person and Michal Levy all invested a lot of effort in putting it together.

We did the first demonstration of the TangibLaptop project.
TangibLaptop is a collaborative electronic music instrument with a tabletop tangible multi-touch interface inspired by the reacTable.

Zvika and Tal built a Wheelchair Sequencer using distance sensors.
Placing strips on the wheels which are detected by the distance sensors,
Information is sent through a fidget to the laptop, mapping them to midi notes and playing music.

June 6th, 2007

ynet.jpg

YNet Digital Time jurnalist, Niv Lilian, visited us at the Garage, here are his notes:

wired inventions, crazy and unnecessary, are created in a messed up garage at Holon. Together, with them are born few of the coolest games you may find.
Responsible for that are the GarageGeeks, technology and computer games freaks who wish to combine science and art, and while doing so, serve tons of fun, apart of that, they also contribute to the community …

KinnerNet 2007

March 17th, 2007

images_header.jpg

KinnerNet camp is an un-convention that I cannot describe in one blog post,
so I invested more than 8 hours writing the article A look back at Kinnernet 2007 for Regine at the art-tech web site we-make-money-not-art

This is a great GarageGeeks moment I will remember forever.
After demonstrating the GuitarHeroNoid at KinnerNet 2007, we went to the gaming room, sat down, had beer, opened laptops, and start blogging and telling the world about the GuitarHeroNoid building process.
This was a victory moment of geek heroes.
